I about died when I saw it

I felt that

That was amusing!

Agreed!

In fairness it's obviously not a lucky kangaroo once the first penalty has been blazed over the bar. The only logical thing to do.

please @noscoredraws.com this guy throwing the cangooroo

Read this and first thought…how the hell do you do Horns Down with a kangaroo?

Learning advanced shadow puppeteering moves to better taunt your rivals

They deserved to lose if they act like that.

nor

It’s always the kangaroos who suffer most

Did he forget what code he was playing when taking that penno?

Tiny kangaroo down sport..

This PK is exhibit A of "just shoot it at the goal." 80% of shots at the goal will go in. 0% of super tricky, unblockable shots that miss the goal completely go in. The goalie is one guy, and he can only cover *maybe* 1/6th of the goal, and 1/3rd of the ground level of the goal. SHOOT AT THE GOAL!

Awe poor Aussie 😔

fucking Keith man

🦘🤣🤣🤣 😂😂 🤣🤣🤣

My first thought also!

This comment deserves more respect than it has so far received.

@elizabethbsf.bsky.social

The goaltender looked like he was diving out of the way to avoid being hit by the ball.

I laughed so hard

@props.bsky.social

Unlike the Aberdonian penalty taker.

@noscoredraws.com

The arabic commentator when this happened : "We can see the kangaroo is clearly disappointed " 😂😂

The people who waited for and cut to that shot deserve Emmys

You gotta think he was holding it for good luck and then they immediately missed, so he was like, "F that"

Strewth

I cracked up at that, as well 😂

I saw this happen live and knew it was gonna become a meme lol -- internet strikes again!

Bro made the conversion

I CAME HERE TO SAY THIS

Amazing scene

Things I never thought I would experience. Harry Souttar taking a penalty in a WC penalty shootout. He certainly never struck me as the right player for that.

Quokkas do this with their babies but it's never worked with football.

Emotional Support Kangaroo

OMG I didn't notice it was a kangaroo lol. I did feel sorry for him but now I feel sorry for the stuffed fren

Knew this was gonna be iconic for years to come if they lost

Throw me kangaroo down sport, throw me kangaroo down!

Skippy, noooooooo
