This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up. Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking. The media response is "yawn."

Pure comedy.

For the 1st time in US history SCOTUS has more rulings on its shadow docket -- unsigned and with no opinions -- than it has cases where it has heard oral arguments and issued signed rulings. IOW they are hiding their deliberations while stealing our democracy. www.propublica.org/article/supr...

NEW: "Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s," per new House Judiciary Dem report. Report has new allegation that Trump raped a 24-year-old and then promised the victim a visa & NYU admission, demanding she stay quiet.

Corruption and high prices are largely the same issue. If Democrats can dismantle the Trump/Tech/Fossil Fuel/Finance mafias running the country, things will cost less relative to our incomes.

If you want to know how complete the right-wing capture of the public narrative is: people were shocked a dozen years ago at birtherism being pointed at Obama. Yesterday, Trumpists said AES was not an American *even though he has a birth certificate* — and none of those outlets even made it news.

You know, sometimes it's not Red vs. Blue, it's just the rich vs. everyone else. If we stand together and don't believe their lies, we win. It's a simple as that. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

RIP Tom, a pioneer of ATL historic preservation due to being an eyewitness, a cool guy, and personally one of the few insider-y people here to be genuinely nice to me, not Atlanta Way nice

RIP Tom Houck. “Appalled by Bloody Sunday in 1965, when Alabama law enforcement officers attacked about 600 peaceful civil rights protesters attempting to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Houck left high school to join the subsequent march to Montgomery.” www.ajc.com/news/2026/10...

This starts with standard "when my kids ask me” politician setup and pivots to a remarkable passage that makes me think wow someone in a position of power and influence in the Democratic Party finally gets it and is willing to say it.

We can and will reclaim control over our own destiny. We can and will meet our obligations to our children. And that begins with victory this fall.

Many many years my work team did a road trip in rural Kenya interviewing community savings group members trying to enter the banking system so they didn’t have to store so much cash. When we wanted to stop the car for bathroom breaks we’d say “I have excessive liquidity”. We had fun.

You heard of meetings that should have been emails? Introducing the sign that should have been a conversation with that one guy.

As we approach the midterms, remember that the Alt National Park Service is a merch sales operation claiming without evidence to be a group of federal employees, and is not a genuine source of news about elections of any kind. Please get your election info from a local, reputable source.

Yes, it’s all in the article. But the framing, the headline, subhed, and social media copy matter. Most people who see a social media post do not click it. Most people who see a headline don’t read the article. I doubt most people who clicked read through 1,100 words to get to the Jackson part.

"The Jews who went to Mississippi didn't take selfies and post tweets." Okay, but honestly, if tweets had been a thing in 1961, many of them probably would have done.

I wish conservatives were as mad about “They’re rebooting the World War franchise and making the U.S. the villain” as they seem to be about women Ghostbusters and black mermaids.

If Zohran Mamdani or Abdul El-Sayed had used the word “Shylock” as an insult, the ADL would be attacking them by name relentlessly. But Donald Trump used it, so we get a generic condemnation of the word without any specific reference to who actually used it, and with no assumption of intent.

Trump: "You go up to Minnesota -- number one place in the entire country for the sale of Mercedes-Benz. And Somalians are buying them. They come here with low IQs and no money and they get rich. Do we feel stupid? Our fraud division is getting them all."

I need parenting advice. My kids never talk to friends in class during lessons, but their teachers always ask them to stop talking even though it was the people around them who were talking and they weren’t talking so obviously the teachers clearly have it in for them. What should I do?
