Post

While I applaud the burn, I'd carefully remind anyone reading this post that having ALL characters be mandatory for story progression is how you get reviled characters like Taash dragging your game down.

🦊checking out our steam wishlists and this "Lesbian Toggle" post has caused them to go *way* higher than being in Steam Next Fest has the logical conclusion is that every game should have some kind of toggle like this, and also lesbians

That's so awesome...ngl it's how I heard of the game. A friend posted an article about the toggle. Hilarious. Tho it does make me a lil sad that that made ya'll skyrocket more than Steam Next Fest. Totally agree with your conclusion tho. An excellent idea.

🦊the early access build on Itch is nearly complete, but it's not complete-complete, and is missing stuff that we *have* (like music and more puzzles) but just haven't put in the release build yet Since it's so close to release, it'd be fine to wait BUT you can always check it out anyways

Imagine a game with that as a separate toggle so it can have both though. Just like, the more you try to get rid of it, the worse it gets, and the more other people start to question why you have it setup like that.

🐭so when you toggle it, we remove her from the logo on the title screen, which makes it say BL BUN which people have interpreted as "boy love bun" so you're not far off hehe

"What do you expect, you removed the lesbians, that includes the main character. How do you play without them?" Reminds me of Game Genie messing with Super Mario Bros. Game could freeze on title screen, no Mario. "He didn't show up, game's canceled, sorry folks"

Or a game that shipped on a 2-sided disk but only needed one side, so the other had the same game but rendered upside down. "Why is it upside down?" "Because you put it upside down, duh"
