That reminds me of a school assembly story where they told us the sorry story of Bill, surname rhymed with Snickers, who'd stolen some sweets or similar, and then saw posters all the way home which said "BILL STICKERS WILL BE PROSECUTED".
(I can't work out how the original story didn't divulge the punchline upfront. They wouldn't have alluded to Snickers as I have, as it was a Marathon back then. I suppose they said he saw posters with his name and surname, and then at the end said what was on the poster.)
Reminds me of those old, weirdly-specific laws like a city where it is illegal to take a bath with a mule or things like that. I want to call them “Gary laws”
“It is illegal to take a bath with a mule, GARY!”
Sign gradually adds more details over time. "Men employed by farmers who have brown eyes, light brown hair, wear a size 10 work boot, and have the first name initial 'J' must not cross the main lines to fetch milk cans."
