Let's just hope we get to vote again. If Mr. Schumer and Mr. Hakeem don’t resign, Democrats might lose. Social media is filled with false narratives, and they aren’t doing anything about it. Their communication is very poor, and most people can’t understand them.

This is sometimes made possible through a legal provision—Article 132-59 of the Penal Code—that allows courts to waive punishment if rehabilitation is achieved, damage is repaired, and public disturbance has ceased. Christine Lagarde is a striking example.

Imagine a country where MAGATs are almost non existent and d GOP had a spine. Imagine that whichever new law got passed would negatively impact the GOP’s pockets and took away their benefits. Just imagine……

The former President of Brazil got 27 years. Trump should be sent away for life for his crimes. 20 years alone for stealing Classified and White House Documents, initiating the Coups on Jan.6, 2021, violating the Posse-Comitatus Act, the Emoluments Clause, the Congressional Impoundment of Funds Act.

I remember when Mathieu Kassovitz and Sarkozy, both sons of Hungarian immigrant fathers, had a very public dispute in the media. Kassovitz was critical of Sarkozy, even before Sarkozy became president. Understandably so.

Proud of France & its ability to hold politicians & the wealthy to account. The French Judicial system is managed by an apolitical institution (CSM), where judges rise based on education & merit, not by political appointment. Therein lies (one of) the important differences-Judicial Independence.

Every president since FDR has technically broken one law or another. I promise, you don’t want to live in a world where every new president automatically brings charges against their predecessor on day one. (See: every 20th century Central American country)

You must be talking about some fairy tale land. Everyone knows presidents are never held accountable, because they ARE the law. When the president does it, ipso facto, it's legal.

In Brazil, Bolsonaro and others nostalgic for the military dictatorship implemented by the United States, were convicted in trial, complying with all constitutional rules, and were all convicted. For the first time in the history of Brazil, military personnel, always present in coups, were condemned.

It was 19 years ago and he will obviously have better treatment than the average prisoner so.... 19 years after January 6, Trump will be dead, the only bad move from Sarko was to be too young at the time of the crimes 😂
