Maybe this is a hot take, but like she debuted in 2023, and compared to say Jade she has a much stronger wrestling foundation. I think she’ll be able to build a lot of reps and really fight for the title (closest comparison I’m feeling is Senka’s run as the Senjo Junior Champ)

I was saying this the other day, I feel like she doesn't shine ass much in tag matches and maybe doesn't have quite the same degree of natural charisma as Maya, but singles-wise I've seen Hyan have a ton of bangers before AEW.

I'll join this train because I've been thinking about this since they signed. Cannot WAIT for the Sickos to see what Hyan is capable of

They won't care unless she has a convenient sympathetic story

They should have pulled the trigger against Mercedes, gotten the pop and the big match out of it and then moved on. She just doesn’t feel ready for this spot in the middle upper card of the women’s division

The fact that she’s not ready for the spot probably means they shouldn’t have given her the biggest spot of the year.

Yeah but you can ride the lightning for a month and get the big pop at the big show and then shuffle her back down, what they’ve done is basically decided that they missed it so they have to try to maintain it with mid card stuff but that moment has passed
