If you’re looking for proof that American politics and media are the most powerful propaganda system in human history, consider that barely anyone can easily afford the basic necessities needed to survive and yet the discourse is mostly about everything other than that

other than NSPM-7, which is our death warrant. the reason it is this way is because no one block walks and phone banks. Marcuse and COINTELPRO broke leftist coalition and put narcissists at the helm of leftist leadership for 60 years.

Every second news article I read is about affordability and the struggles of people to afford the basics. It's so prominent that it has become the central election issue. Is that an example of the media ignoring the issue?

Isn’t this global? Here in Austria, the comms director of ex-chancellor Kurz wrote a book ex post on: How to stay in power by being able to push aside important topics by flooding the zone with what he calls: ‘strategically necessary nonsense’ Let’s all read Herman Chomsky Propaganda Model again

Our American ability to hold up a facade of nomality while suffering under crushing debt, exhausting work demands, crippling loneliness, and fear of truths being exposed is only matched by our willingness to give up nearly anything to maintain our conveniences. We've submitted to fascists amiably.

Ya that’s kinda what I was thinking. All they talk about is anti semitism & I’m trying to figure out where that’s even happening? It’s wrong for happening. But I don’t think it requires it to be the only subject on CNN, Fox or CBS every night. I just learned Jewish people are 2.4% of USA population.

So yes it’s wrong whether it’s happening. But it’s pretty obvious these organizations owned by Israel supporters Larry Ellison and others are making the US media talk about it non stop. What about the other 97.6% of us Americans? Can we talk about the anti-poor and anti-whites & anti-black/brown?

Honestly, I would rather them never talk about “anti” anything and instead talk about solutions to problems. But their greedy corporate overlords won’t allow it. They are brainwashing the boomers & rural red states that rank in the bottom in every single education category or public policy.

So you can’t be mad at the people getting conned. They honestly think they are super smart with talking points that were beamed into their brain the last ten years by hot blondes on Fox News. Because if they could realize they were being conned we would have different presidents. But instead,

Hey David. I remember you watched a new financial flick that looked great- I forget the name and haven’t seen it or know how to watch it. (Within last few months). Do you know where I can rent it/purchase if that good.

I disagree with one point--one of phrasing. I am quite confident that, of course, everybody can easily afford all the basic necessities needed to survive. We only choose a society where for the many, these are prohibited by and for the enrichment of the few. We could choose another way.
