So, Constitutional crisis happens. No recourse--no enforcement possible on a rogue, criminal President. ....except action by millions who decide they DON'T want a dictator, after all. (Will it happen?)

*Further* non-compliance could be a crime??? Why is it not a crime the first time? If I walked into Walmart and stole some shit and got caught, they definitely wouldn't tell me "hey knock it off, NEXT time it's going to be a crime"... hell na, id be arrested on the spot. So tired of this 2tier shit

This is my exact worry when people talk about injunctions and using judges to stop them: "When the courts stop you, stand before the country like Andrew Jackson did and say: ‘The chief justice has made his ruling. Now let him enforce it.” -Vance www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...

independent.co.ukAlarm as JD Vance says federal judges ‘aren’t allowed’ to control presidentExperts argued expansive view of executive power could cause constitutional crisis

Vance has a years-long history of saying a President should just ignore the courts. (MAGA voters didn't see how that could impact their lives.)

@marcelias.bsky.social at what point does the lawless Trump Admin nullify themselves? If they are running a lawless coup, when do those who still maintain fidelity to the Constitution just stop taking orders from Trump and his minions? When does his coup justify mutiny? bsky.app/profile/donj...

Gift link: wapo.st/4gztuin @eugenerobinson.bsky.social is right. Vance knows better. If the Trump admin ignores the courts, they have forsaken the law and the Constitution and are therefor lawless. All federal employees and the military should henceforth refuse to follow any orders or directions.

Asked this elsewhere, hoping that someone smarter than me has an answer. Can judges go directly to the US Marshals and request their assistance in enforcing court orders? I know the agency is under the DOJ, but is that how the process can work? If so, this seems a good place for its use.

To which he has signaled he will not comply with no judge should be allowed” to rule against the changes his administration is making. This is no longer the making of an autocrat, this is now a full autocratic rule.

He doesn’t care if it’s a crime C’mon he has committed so many and is currently a felon He does not give a crap He will not comply - so what happens now 🤷🏼‍♀️ We are in a Dictatorship Even his VP is tweeting that we don’t have to listen to the judge

Autocratic Breakthrough!!! TRUMP DEFIES THE FEDERAL COURTS. Trump, Musk, and Vance are not following court orders. They believe that the Executive Branch can do anything with unlimited power. Unless the Supreme Court supports Federal Court rulings then our Democracy will be destroyed!

And a pardon 🖊️ We’ve got to get to work on public opinion and getting ppl off the couch. That’s what we’ve got if we want to preserve the rule of law.

JFC, it's just going to be an endless round of outrageous behavior, legal block, refusal to comply with legal block, more legal paper, round and round and round until Vance takes over and declares a theocracy.

It’s getting hard to keep track of the crimes. In fact they’re now being created intentionally because all of the protection bureaus including FBI CIA being dismantled… The question really is how explicitly is the judge going to force Compliance and contempt that are being created against the court?

youtu.be/6DAT4etnd1o #JDVance #GeorgeConway #Constitution #MAGA #Project2025 Will judges no longer have executive orders? Is constitutionalism and the rule of law over? JD Vance says federal judges aren't allowed to control a president and why he says the White House won't obey court orders. 🙄 😡 👎

Better to spend money on 'House of Rep.' races and State Races that impact Republican control, Gerrymandering, voter eligibility. Democrats Ignored these states; must rebuild party in Deep Red States. Requires Time, money & effort. Re 2026 Senate, check past 'vote margins' in those Red States.

The court says "Further non-compliance could be a crime"?!? Do crimes MATTER when the Supreme Court has said that the President cannot be prosecuted for crimes committed as part of his official duties?!?
