Gen X was raised w/out guidance. We were latch key kids who learned how to feed ourselves and solve problems without our parents involvement. Some of us did not make it. Apparently we have another forgotten generation coming up with their parents who are abdicating parental responsibilities to AI.

Classic AI fabrication. Doing a deep dive on murine leukemia viruses and Claude gives me the the following when I asked for a reference for a particular claim: PMID 1740369. That references a manuscript titled: Organisational justice and health of employees: prospective cohort study. I hate this.

The ID checker is Persona, a firm funded by Trump ally Peter Thiel. As a U.S. company, Persona is also subject to gov't demands for people's verification data. 👀

Worth noting that most of the people who say Bluesky is dead or useless are journalists, not organizers. Bluesky has been OUTSTANDING for me as an organizer. I've raised THOUSANDS of dollars here, gotten HUNDREDS of people to actual events, gotten LOADS of people to DO POLITICAL THINGS.

I had the lighting and the energy to do a proper photo shoot of my cupcakes from last night. Now that I’ve had some distance from the project, I am quite pleased with how they turned out. They are lemon cupcakes with lemon curd filling and vanilla buttercream. I made them for my sister’s birthday.
