Federal workers we never hear about do heroic things every day. They keep our country going smoothly. They don't deserve to be traumatized like they have been with Donald Trump's authoritarian tactics.

Does “Golden Age” refer to a time when planes keep crashing, eggs cost $10–15 a dozen, the U.S. is being booed and protested by all our allies, workers are losing their jobs, and Americans’ personal data is being rummaged through by unelected oligarchs and their strange crew of 20-something incels?

This would be disqualifying for a Democratic or Republican nominee in normal times. This Senate will probably find this to be a positive quality, though.
