Tim: "Just because a company is not profitable doesn't mean it shouldn't go public." Ed: "Let me reframe this then. I don't think these companies will survive." You ignored the bait and then doubled down to get your point across like a boss. How do people learn this skill? I'd have taken the bait

Best case I probably would have said something like how a company aiming to do a public offering should have a publicly understood path to profitability in order to court public investor buy in. Which would have simply been me taking the bait and getting sidetracked from the point.

Because in reality the stock market is quote-unquote "a casino" and there being a communicated "path to profitability" is entirely optional to the majority willing to gamble money on vibes And I would have taken the bait and started engaging about that topic like a sucker if I were in Ed's position

Absolutely loved the masterstroke at the end where you primed viewers to notice how businesses are suddenly all pulling out of AI subscriptions now that they're having to pay actual costs.

How similar will be the fate of data centers owners to unraveling of crypto miners? Use same kind of application specific GPUs/processing units. Can one draw parallels?

I wonder if they are going to listen or it's going to be more agressive/try to debunk? Gonna try to listen to it.

Watched it, slight push based on "market is smart, surely it can't be wrong" but overall pretty nice, wish it was longer.
