Watching the Backrooms youtube videos had me go back and look up a the notes and bits of lore from Control and even though I often found it frustrating to play it's still one of my favorite game stories. Expanding the world to include a altered Manhattan is incredibly in my wheelhouse

it's okay to be excited for The Big Thing sometimes. we can't always make the most "virtuous" choices. A lot of people put a lot of love into FF7R trilogy. It's okay to enjoy it!!!

I don’t even like Final Fantasy 7 and I’m having the same reaction.

I was pretty bewildered with the scene where Hojo recognizes Cloud early on because I guess he played the original game or something, and then Hojo got attacked by ghosts to stop him from telling Cloud he wasn't in SOLDIER. Nobody told Hojo that Cloud killed Sephiroth, he wouldn't know Cloud.
