ok yall, we hear you. the carousel isn't popular! we're putting it back in the oven and will plan to bring it back for posts with more than 4 photos or videos when we add support for that. appreciate the feedback. we really want you to love this app.

don't do it for 5+ either!! the whole point of this design is that i can see all of the posts by scrolling in a single direction! if i have to interact in some other way to see more stuff within a post then you have fucked that up!

swiping is so much less effort than clicking on photos to see them??? i much prefer carousel, it’s hard to see pictures when you get to 3+ images with the grid and then i have to click and that’s far more disruptive than scrolling a diff direction 😐

Swiping can easily be more effort. Just try reading these screenshots, it demonstrates how the carousel display often still requires clicking. It's more required interactions and more disruptive. Swiping doesn't mean you get to avoid clicking. bsky.app/profile/illu...

I think the app hasn't updated and I still have the grid for now, thankfully. Just look at how everyone actually feels about this.
