Since beer is the start of whisky I would agree.

This makes a strong case for beer. It's so good you'd give up your freedom and sovereignty. Democracy can't do that.

Democracy was one of those subjects hotly debated and democratic structures of governments were formed in the public houses of the American colonies, so where would we be without beer?
