Remarkable how accepted the double standard is when it comes to attacking voters. The right can have senior leaders call progressive voters every name under the sun. If some left wing Twitch streamer so much as hints the right aren't all economically anxious saints, we get 150 op-eds about it.

Nigel Farage, Reform’s leader, asked by Sun about rise of Greens "I don’t see the Green vote as being working people. I see the Green vote as being ethnic minorities. Many who don't speak English. Many who have foreign passports, but are still allowed to vote for reasons that are totally beyond me"

If the system of voting in the UK is as stated anonymous at the point of voting ( the ballot booth) . There is no way a political voice even one as grating as Nigel's would have the statistical facts to say what demographic voted for whom. It's purely speculation based on his biased view and agenda

That's nonsense. You know how different constituencies voted. So can make deductions from demographics and where parties, performed well. You have polling which includes asking people how they self identify ethnically. Which gives fairly reliable data .

"Mixed" as an ethnic group usually refers to people with more than one heritage, for example someone whose mother is of White ethnicity and father is of Asian ethnicity.

In Hungary, Orban spent 16 years claiming the opposition are all foreign agents and traitors, not true Hungarians, and the nation equals his voters. This last campaign, Orban and his party have been branded as traitors quite vocally. Cut to them bitching non-stop about the opposition being uncivil.

I see that Farage's view that anyone at home in the day is worthless is as well thought out and nuanced as Thatcher's statement that anyone over 30 years of age catching a bus is a loser

it's the right who are obsessed with claiming moral and ideological purity and they're constantly getting disappointed by the rest of the world refusing to go along with their bullshit

How can the right be obsessed with those values when they worship awful human beings such as Trump or Farage? How? So no, they aren’t. But they are trolling us knowing that we do care. They troll us saying that progressive politician is not Jesus Christ so we can’t vote for them.

I mean yeah we need to make left _and_ centrist propaganda. Not the bad kind but the kind that honestly markets the strongest versions of our ideas. Hell we need right wing propaganda too just anything except fash

‪There's no point Reform knocking on doors during the daytime because nearly all the people they'll find at home are the people who are already going to vote for him - pensioners and unemployed people who don't realise that there'd be a lot more jobs in the UK if it wasn't for Farage's Brexit.

Farage showing exactly who he is, and making it so very easy to believe all those men who claimed he was openly racist whilst at Secondary School. Of course he was, he is now as he was then. Nothing but a drum beating, flag waving racist dressed up as the working man's best friend.
