If the UK and France can't or won't hold the line against a Victor Orban Secretary-General bid, they should give up their Permanent Seats on the Security Council. No shame in no longer being globally relevant, but if it really has gotten that bad it would be humiliating to keep pretending.

The UK are the US's lapdogs, but I still trust France on this. Giving immunity to Orban would be a spit in the face of millions of Hungarians who are waiting impatiently for him to be arrested along with his entire clan of thieves, and for the confiscation of the billions they had stolen.

If lapdogs why did uk come out so clearly on Greenland? Why didn't they support Trump's Hormuz war and then indeed criticised it..?

Yeah, right, criticised it, while in fact participating in the conflict by allowing the US to use UK bases to attack Iran. Like I gave you a gun and said please try not to shoot too many people. The UK govt isn't too keen on pissing off the US, especially not since Brexit made them super vulnerable.

They might actually raise their voices a tiny bit when it's something that directly affects Britain, like oil price or the lives of British soldiers, cos voters are still somewhat mad about that whole Iraq fiasco, but they sure as hell ain't so terribly confrontational when it's about a 3rd country.
