Newsom's bad for more than enough other reasons, but insanely enough he isn't going on Shapiro's show, he/his people have invited Shapiro onto Newsom's own podcast/PR nightmare.

The only acceptable reason to invite Shapiro on your show is to bully him relentlessly and bait him into taking a swing at you so you can choke him until he shits himself and you MUST stick the landing.

That's a hell of a take, given that the slop Newsom's social media posts is made by LLMs. Which is my point: slop is slop, and not posting at all is a better strategy that flooding the world with slop.

I neither support of oppose him. If his political instincts are so bad, then it will sort itself out and he will not win the nomination. Have to say, to me, going on Shapiro seems like a very bad move.

I am a notoriously wishy-washy fuck up with absolutely no political experience, a permanent scowl, droopy jowls, and penchant for tripping over my words, and I would be a better Democratic candidate than Gavin "Neville Chamberlain" Newsom.

A bunch of slop jockeys aren't of any use to anyone, and never will be.

Those of us who do not live in California, do not share the same negative opinions because we don’t have the information. Is it Newsom‘s voting record? Is it his character? Something in his past? Let’s hope our fascist media does a better job vetting candidates this time around. Don’t count on it.

Very likely some of them are doing it because they're getting paid. The sleazy silicon-valley VC crowd might be looking for a Democratic backstop to Trump. Newsom's an obvious choice, and astroturfing up a chorus of support on social media would be completely in character.
