I’m expecting those troops to also hassle the Post Office regarding mail in ballots (seizing them?), and placing troops right next to poll workers and counters. My advice- early in-person voting next year. If mailed - make sure they are filled out 100% right.

If the Dems & people who are opposed to Trump, can't get the national card out of the cities before the midterms? At least in the blue states, they should call out their own national guards, and they control the elections and don't allow other national guards from red states near voting booths

Probably because Newsom is the only other Democrat similarly situated to resist Trump but Newsom basically agrees with Trump on most of the authoritarian stuff (aside from branding)

I also worry about what Trump does if Dems do win the midterms -- or what his cult does; as well as what happens if Dems win in 2028 as well. These people aren't going to just let go of power. And this time, he does have the military leadership on his side.

I find Pritzkers message to be painfully obvious and totally accurate. Most humans cannot grasp it and have lost trust in those who can deliver that message. That is what has happened since #Democrats started carrying water for every aggrieved minority under the sun.

Very big ups for Pritzker. He is what Democrats used to be like before Citizens United.

It's Pritzker. Not only is he smart. He cares about others and about our democracy. This sets him apart from a lot of people. Finally, he has courage. Many people are afraid of Trump and his supporters.
