just a reminder: Firefox for Android supports over 1,000 extensions 🔥

No it's not, as an extension developer Mozilla requires us to not obscure the code in any way. And they actually check. And since it's JavaScript it's not compiled so you can literally read the original source code of any extension. This is straight up misinformation

Oh you mean the source code for the browser itself. I googled "Firefox source code" and the very first link was the source docs with a link at the very top in the first paragraph to the source code. The second link was the official GitHub repository. Literally couldn't be any easier

Until Ladybird launches, in maybe a year, Firefox is the only browser at scale that is not based in Chromium. Even if it kind of sucked, it would be important for it to exist. It doesn't suck though.

I recommend the combination of uBlock and video background play (prevents browser apps from detecting you're not watching media)

Vulnerabilities are inherent to code, especially open source code. 🤷 I suppose you could write your entire life in rust, but I'm gonna keep fiddling with the same extremely obscure codebases from 1998 that have a memory overflow in every file anyway.
