The review has finished but it seems like Play Store doesn't automatically invite testers. So here is the link for registered testers to join from Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d... or from web: play.google.com/apps/testing...

Ok, double checked. The first list I exported to the Play Store only contained 66 emails...don't ask me why. I just re-submitted the form's list (which contains more than 1000 testers). It is awaiting review. I will post the test link to the Store listing here once the review has finished.

Hmmm I thought I was set to get notifications on this, but I had no idea you were looking for testers. Is there any way to squeeze in? It has been killing me not having something to replace Insta since I dropped it long ago.

Very surprised that the Android project is not at the same level as the iOS version. So no cross-platform base code and therefore a recovery of 0. The application is unusable at the moment..

Do you need people to help localize into different languages? I'm native German speaker but would love a English/US localized version. Happy to do a few translations 😁

Hi Flash team, we’re currently using the Android beta in France, but our profile doesn’t appear / isn’t visible in the app. Is this a known issue with the beta, or something still being rolled out? Thanks for the update.

Me too, no profile, no settings as yet and seems to be in Germany on the menu but, I can't post easily on it or follow anyone or search? I'm guessing it's teething problems with it just launching on Android? Hopefully it will get ironed out soon 🙏

Also I published this post and it was posted like 10 times, if you need me to enable something to get more logs or something let me know 👌 bsky.app/profile/anto...

For something to be good, it doesn't have to be complete, it just has to do what it's intended for. My first ten minutes in Flashes confirms that. Even in this alpha state, the Android version is excellent in itself.

There is one small technical problem that will probably be solved in time. Namely, on my tablet, scrolling is not fluid, that is, if you don't really put your finger on the screen, the whole screen can sometimes remain in place. But I believe that this will be resolved over time.

Flashes is ideal for the mixed world of pro photographers, amateur photographers, and those who don't take photography seriously. I just hope it doesn't become artificial and contrived like its poor alternative, Instagram.

I believe that on a personal level I will now be complete with my two homes,Flashes and Foto app.Perfection each in its own way.Dev this is commendable.I am very pleased with what I have seen.I know you will bring the Android version to a level that will knock us out of our shoes.I do not doubt you.

Thanks for your work on this! Excited to try it out. It's being reported multiple times in the github but 2FA support for login is something I hope gets added. I did a workaround by temporarily disabling it to login before re-enabling it.
