there are 7,205,770 people residing in MA. approximately 1 million turned out in Boston. Thousands of others across the rest of the state. that means about 1 in 6 people turned out today. thats sort of amazing.

i am sure that there were multiple states represented in Boston. but at worcester it was on the very accessible common with lots of patio seating areas. all generations were there. speakers on the steps where the declaration was read to the public in 1776

There were plenty of young folks in this crowd. it was very mixed generationally speaking. But Boston had a nice mixed crowd from what I was seeing too. Lots of the Boston folks were probably out of state, but that turn out from both events was brilliant.

I was there. It was a huge, peaceful and joyful party spanning across a good portion of the Back Bay(!) and just about all of the Boston Common, given it was a team up with the Boston Pride parade. The only difference being that everywhere you looked you’d see someone carrying a protest sign

The question is how Boston Pride counts attendance. They reported a million attending in 2023 (www.bostonherald.com/2023/06/10/m...) while the parade itself was around 10,000 marchers. So a million again this year is believable, but maybe counting differently than other events re: spectators.

Woohoo Boston! The towns across Massachusetts were filled as well! I organized in Billerica and had a little over 300 people. Every town around me had protests, Tewskbury, Lowell, Bedford, Chelmsford, it was amazing!

I was in a band when I lived in Geneva (Switzerland) and the singer had a song full of double entendres of English place names but they were pretty much all also on Cape Cod. Yarmouth is the main town I remember but there were dozens

11,000,000+ at the No King Protests. We hit the 3.5% rule!!! The "3.5% rule" states that no government has been able to withstand a challenge from a nonviolent movement that mobilizes 3.5% of its population. Way to go United States!!! You understood the assignment!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Frustrates me that MSM keeps saying today (6/15/25) that “thousands of protesters participated in No Kings protests, coast to coast”. Excuse me? Thousands? More like millions! 😠

I’d be interested to hear how those crowd sizes were calculated. I’ve lived in Boston for decades, and I can’t imagine a million people. That’s 4x the March on Washington, and at least 25% more than the Million Man March was. We just don’t have the population or the space for those numbers.

I have no idea how they are calculated, but, in a brief search, I found two others recently estimated at "over one million": Pride 2023 (which was the first one in 4 years), and last year's Celtics parade.

There is strength is our numbers! Go Boston ! Amazing numbers ! 1 Million. Trump loves❤️ and brags about large crowds - this may be larger than any crowd he has ever had bragging rights to? Wow!

Supported by almost 200 Democratic- aligned organizations with a combined annual revenue of over 2 billion. You don’t understand money trails, it’s comes from billionaires like Walmart heiress Christy Walton and millionaire politicians and business persons, all the way up the Democratic ladder.

Convicted of 34 felonies & liable for fraud & sexual assault, Trump ignores the Constitution, the law and the courts. He exploits the Presidency for personal financial gain, and to change the USA from a Constitutional Republic into a Fascist, Christian-Nationalist, White-Supremacist Kleptocracy.

Great turnout Boston- a little rain- a ton of enthusiasm and fun- safe , loud, all speaking out for equality for all and against this hateful regime

7.2m closest estimate by counters. Previous record was between 6-10m over multiple organized protests in multiple nations. There is no doubt, this is history being made.

Sen. Hawley (MO), Sen. Sullivan (Alaska), & Sen. Tillis (NC) are considered flip-able votes on the budget bill. If you're in these states, keep up the pressure (daily calls/letters to the editor/ protests / signage or fliers in your town). Phone bank if outside the state. We can do this. 🔥

The turnout on King Day reflects a nation at moral crossroads, outraged yet resolute. That same force must mobilize at the polls + pressure reps daily. Sustained civic will is how we indict impunity + impeach tyranny. Protest is voice-voting + action make it consequence. Now Vote your conscience.

Just got home from the Portland OR protests. I handed out over 400 senators phone lists and over 4000 postcards. Successful day from my perspective. You have the right to call any senator not just your own. 202.224.#### Use last 4 digits in PHONE column.

You have that right, but unfortunately it can be counterproductive. There’s a pervasive bias that issues getting lots of calls from non-constituents are astroturfed. That makes reps less likely to listen to the constituents who DO call on those issues, even in huge numbers. Call YOUR reps though!

Indivisible recommends calling your 2 Senators and 1 House Representative every day (or at least, on every relevant issue) And ONLY calling those 3. We have a representative democracy for a reason, even when it’s frustrating. Leave the other reps’ lines open to talk to the people THEY represent.

This concept died in 2010 when Super PACs were born. The current GOP Congress demonstrates that they no longer vote based on constituents. Votes of every member of Congress impact EVERYONE in the nation. If they only wanted to hear from their state they should have stayed in state level offices.

If what you're promoting made sense, then why are we out protesting?? Their votes impact every person in the country. If they only wanted to hear from their state they should have stayed in state level office.
