In a disastrous ruling, the Court of Appeal in London has overruled the High Court and upheld the government's decision to ban Palestine Action as a terrorist group. Defining a protest group as terrorists has created an absurd situation where thousands have been arrested for holding up signs.

I just don’t understand how, on one hand, the UK government formally recognises the nation of Palestine (for all the good that’s done) while on the other hand continuing to have Palestine Action as a proscribed organisation. Make that make sense.

Yeah Palestine Action also ≠ terrorists. Because if that’s how much the definition of “terrorist” has slipped, then we’re truly fucked. Of course, it’s not like the UK has a previous track record of failing to correctly identify terrorists to make an easy life for themselves…

Oh no, be careful to vote Labour, otherwise you'll have a fascist government treating protesters as terrorists, imposing online ID and social media censorship

If you want to get finger wavy about who are terrorists, there’s a litany of historic actions done by UK military that amount to a lot worse than chucking paint into an aircraft engine. How does state sponsored murder without ramifications sound to you? Have a think about it while you taste leather

The court has ruled that you are indeed a twat. You can appeal the decision to the supreme court if you wish, I look forward to hearing your defence.

That the government considers these courageous women enemies says everything about Starmer's moral and political corruption. bsky.app/profile/saul...
