Now would an excellent time for military leaders that actually stand for the constitution to make their voices heard.

I'm curious as to how our military is going to react when Trump does invoke the Insurrection Act. Unless he's impeached & removed before the summer, which is when I expect him to do it. He'll wait until late summer so he can try to stop the mid-term elections.

Your military will kill you. They'll behave exactly as they have in the middle east. I expect to see naked americans on dog leads, thats your new reality

Absolutely. But will they, or is absolutely everyone so cowed by Trump and the fascist members of his administration that they will remain silent. I'm thinking that if anyone of them made their voices heard they would become a hero to the American people.

the vast majority in the military are republicans. Expecting military leads to stand up for the Constitution when republicans in Congress and on SCOTUS won't, is unfortunately, fantasy.

I did. I also saw the sour looks on the faces of the military leadership summoned to be inanely harangued by trump & hegseth a few months back. But it's a long way IMO from not liking being part of the trump fascist show to actually refusing orders or more, removing trump (aka, a coup.)

If we don't have our rights we might as well fight what's our states leaders doing? and they are ex military (not the governor I know she's not ) (Arizona here) the only vet I I know that's against this regime and talks about is "generationnews" on Instagram!

They sound like diaper Don with his condemnation of the Democrats who merely reminded our military of the fact that their oaths are to uphold the Constitution- not follow the illegal and murderous whims of a fucking tyrant! Fucking ridiculous and sickening.

Congress where are you? Americans are being killed and the Trump-Epstein Files are not released. Trump is insane and his Regime are criminals, make it stop, NOW!

Yes, they have been very quiet. Haven’t they? I wonder if there’s as much division in the military as there is in the United States right now. I suspect there is.

I hoped for the same but clearly they have some sort of issue…no idea what but sadly I don’t think we can trust them to step in and ensure your constitutional rights 😩

No. Active duty cannot speak out publicly about their Commander-in-chief no matter how much they might disagree with him. Retired and ex-military have MUCH fewer restrictions.

Thank goodness for the 2nd amendment. I always felt safer when the NRA would remind us that if tyranny ever comes to our country they’d be the first to stand up for our rights and not cower in the corner while the government crushes the constitution in it’s bloody hands. As brave as Uvalde cops.

Don’t hold your breath. Any military leaders who were willing to stand for our constitution either resigned or got fired. The ones left, as well as those enlisted solders, are brainwashed always trumpers. Fox is the only media shown on all bases so, good luck.

Hopeful in AZ asked for military leaders to make their “voices” heard, not their guns. It’s not wrong to ask military leaders to make it clear, they will not engage in any military operation that threatens the rights of the American people guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States.

2A advocates, the tyrannical govt you kept 😭 that you need your guns to protect yourselves from is now shooting people dead for exercising that right. So wtf are you gonna do about that tyrannical govt now? Leave your guns at home for YOUR OWN safety? Or oppose that govt before they get to you too?

They will act if we show them that we stand united against what's going on. Which means we need to have nationwide protests outside of every military base across a nation on the same time day. I've been talking about this for over a year now. Coordinating it is a difficult task for nobody like me.

It takes a brave subordinate to say, “no.” That applies in the military even more than in a corporate environment. Your career will be ruined and in military, you will likely face charges.

The oath to the Constitution never procured more than a good feeling to the citizens. When asked to choose between the constitution and a paycheck and health insurance, it’s obvious what the choice from GI to general will be. ‘Erst dass Fressen und dann die Moral’. Berthold Brecht

Maybe the people who call for people to stand for the Constitution, should pull their heads out of their collective asses and actually read the Constitution. But they won't. Because they would see how wrong they've been...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Oh, wait... you're serious? You actually think anyone in the military right now isn't 100% on board with being the 4th Reich? That's literally why they're there.

Consider this: J6. Vote certification stops. Capitol evacuated. Democracy stops. Police injured/ killed. Military does nothing. Politicians do nothing. Oath to a constitution is karaoke for a job Rank and retirement outweighs an oath

The US Military is probably waiting till ICE murders legit American citizens in the thousands...they might raise an eyebrow then...seems like the US Military is a bunch of chicken shits... just like the ICE cowards🤬

There is no constitutional remedy for the military to intervene. That powers are solely left to Congress via impeachment/remove or cabinet via 25A. A military coup is blatantly unconstitutional. MOC also take the oath to spt/defend the const vs all enemies foreign and domestic. Hold them to account.

Well said, thanks. We're in an age where everyone is a media property so it's understandable that people are wondering why military officers haven't (illegally) become influencers. But I wish there was a clearer understanding of the oath we all took.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the oath and what it means. I don’t think the Constitution empowered me to determine who our enemies foreign and domestic are- that is why the military answers to the civilian elected leadership and they are accountable to we the people. Art 1&2 make those decisions.

Active members of the military might be afraid to speak up, and retired vets have seen what's happening to Sen. Mark Kelly. We need profiles in courage now, more than ever.

They won't. We can only hope they do the right thing when things get ugly on a larger scale In the meantime, it's up to US to restore our democracy by SHOWING UP in Washington DC & FLOODING THE STREETS in sustained peaceful protest demanding the removal of the fascist Trump regime. You must remember that the military leaders sat there while a drunken Fox News host berated and demeaned them repeatedly. They took the insults like obedient children, letting them be shoved down their throats. Not a single one had the courage to stand up to Hegseth.

To do so now would give the goons in charge grounds to get rid of them. I’d rather they stay silent and work against quietly from within. Once activated and given illegal orders would be the time to stand up loudly.

There is literally no *low* they won't stoop to in this regime. No empathy. No integrity. No remorse. How can anyone who claims to know what Jesus' message was...(to love one another) be behind such hate, & support such lies & refuse to see through those lies? 👀🤥 (REAL eyes, realize, real lies)

Sadly I don’t think there are any such leaders left at the Pentagon, and 𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘭𝘺 not at the U.S. Navy. Trump’s purge in 2025 replaced them with lap dogs.

Senior officers are too invested in ensuring their retirement checks and medical benefits are taken care of. They're putting 20+ years of dedicated effort to that end. Most of them are not going to risk that. The ones speaking out are retired. And their pay and benefits are being threatened.

I'm not putting any hope in the officer corps saving Democracy. They may retire or remove themselves to other positions if they don't agree with Trump's actions and orders. But I don't expect any of them to 'fall on their sword'. Officers capable of that are very rare.

Those guys got fired a long time ago. This military currently has already proven to not even question illegal orders to murder citizens of other countries in international waters as well as already invaded another country and aiming for more. They are on his side at this point.

A trillion dollar defense budget and they have done nothing to protect us from the greatest threat since the Civil War

I suspect that the fact that they haven't, and that they complied on the Venezuela raid says that military leaders are on Team Trump. That guardrail, along with the Supreme Court and Congress is well and truly broken. Good luck with whatever happens next, America.

ARE ALL #THE #GOOD & #HONEST #MILITARY #LEADERS #RETIRED?!?!🤔 IF any are left..... #WAKE #UP & #DO #YOUR #JOB!😡😠 #PENTAGON + #US MILITARY #LEADERSHIP #DO #SOMETHING ABOUT THE #MESS pOTUS HAS CAUSED!😡😠 #PROTECT US #AGAINST THE #DOMESTIC #ENEMIES of the #CONSTITUTION in the #WHITE #HOUSE!!! 😡😠🤬

No. Now I the time the citizens demand representation and hold our government accountable. Our military should have nothing to do with operation of our government. Military only need to refuse illegal orders from republican party bent on destroying our republic. We are the majority

I’ve been waiting for over a year now because the writing has been on the wall where Trump and this administration was going and they have broken so many laws at this point.

That would be great, but they could be court martial and executed for treason. It is a serious offense, and would give those goons in the White House and his associates to put people that align with their agenda.

I understand your point and I agree. Seventy years ago, and for 20 years thereafter, I swore to support and defend our precious Constitution. It appears that today's senior officers took a different oath.

Many resigned. Those were the ones who had moral clarity and courage. There are more in the military. We need them, so that we, Americans, won’t get shot.

They better hurry how we feeling about anyone in any uniform in our streets murdering innocent people we’ve already been here in my life I remember Kent State the respect for anyone in uniform was zero after that it’s getting there again
