Why was it even there to begin with?

Only specific people "loved" the incest part

Right so I have zero opinions on the story of street fighter VI. The implication that people loved GoT *because* it had incest apropos of no other context is just really funny to me.

What are you even talking about

I think there may be some differences betwen the people that seek out a grimdark story like Game of Thrones and the people who want to play as their favourite good guy wrestler character If you've liked this character since 1997 you're probably not a fan of him suddenly being an incestuous creep

I don't know what's driving this incest trend but I do know it isn't being driven by women...

Weak.

A disturbing amount of people are really okay with casual incest stories and that’s really not good.

ok good you fix ONE Of the problems with this how about the fact they grew up together in the same house and he has always viewed her as his little sister

Is it bad that I can't stop laughing at how stupid this all is

They didn't even say they were removing the incest.

Wait what

How crazy would it be if the update was on April 1st? Like they tried to play this off as a joke.

Patch note: “Made an adjustment to Alex’s storyline in relation to the recent incest controversy; Alex is now from Alabama.”

God damn it

Wow I hate that, thank you.

Who gives a shiiiiiiiiit If you genuinely felt like that the stupid arcade story changed your perspective on the game I'm convinced you don't have real issues

Your initial comment implied that it was a problem.

So it's a new backstory that contradicts an old one or just writing an unknown history of the character? In the first case, yeah that sucks.

😳

Somebody do a wellness check on the people of Shelbyville

WHAT DO YOU MEAN PATCH?! THIS WAS YOUR DECISION!

This is my take. They chose the stupidest fucking direction for this to go and I'm laughing.

they provide no-mojo drugs in patch form now?
