It’s time for Mike Johnson and John Thune to do their jobs and reconvene Congress. Recess doesn’t get to continue while Trump is threatening to annihilate 100 million people. If Thune and Johnson refuse to do their jobs, Schumer and Jeffries must bring Democrats back to DC to end this war.

I agree with you. The Dems should be in DC holding press conferences every single day, and bringing forward articles of impeachment, and if they can, forcing a vote on the War Powers Act.

Why don't we target Congress in our next big protest? This GOP Congress is allowing all of this!! Trump won't have nearly as much power with a working Congress! It's time to focus on Congress's direct responsibility for allowing Trump to be king!

MAGA Congresspeople are terrified of Trump's wrath and his threats to primary them - they all have no spine. Most Democrats (with a few very notable exceptions) are cowards too

Where is the REPUBLICAN controlled Congress ? Simple, their criminal cartel posing as a political party is too afraid of a domestic terrorist organization controlled by the President of the United States...MAGA. And MAGA is being trained/armed by ICE to insure that 47 remains "President" too.

And replace them with who? It doesn't change the fact that Dems are still in the minority... the GOP (Johnson and Thune) are in the majority. Our outrage should be on the GOP by calling their DC and local offices.

Agreed. The congressional leadership doesn't have to agree to convene congress. You all can come to Washington and show us you are here to FIGHT. Have some rallies, meet together to find a way OUT of this presidency. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. Looks like you have 2 weeks to fix this. LET'S GO!

Well, Trump has now backed off on those efforts (TACO Tuesday obviously), but it doesn't change the fact that Trump's threats on Iran could still come in the future and Congress is still MIA. We need to call our GOP representatives and senators - tell Johnson and Thune to call back into session.
