It's really not cool that when you're over 40, time goes by so fast that when you finally sit down and go "ah, my obligations are over, finally time to relax and have some me time" and it's always already fucking midnight

Ya I feel ya. I think I found ways around it sometimes but maybe you just wanted to vent about it. Understandable. The feeling of time lost and a lack of control over it is infuriating.

After kids can be nearly as hectic. Not quite and yet.
