Oh, and I am grateful to have been able to close my account on that other site and find a welcoming, pleasant place to socialize. That is all thanks to you!

Hey, you are doing something truly good and helping create a culture that will save itself and all those who don’t yet realize that they are part of that culture. In you we are blessed 🙏

Not even a little worried about it. You all are amazing. I will be your geeky Mom cheerleader. Scaling infrastructure this fast isn’t easy and the bumps are well worth it.

Thank you for all of the work that all of you are doing! I appreciate your dedication and the chance to breathe calmly again without the feeling of anxiety before opening a reply.

Are you folks using your own rackable servers? If so, why not all in, in someone’s cloud? Just curious, having made the decision to go all in, in AWS. You could add extra large instances as needed and scale up much more quickly.

Jay, you and your team are doing wonders under extreme pressure. Just the scaling up to meet the current and increasing load has been fairly seamless at least to me.

It proves it's real and that people find the site to be of value. They're actually using the app and platform. BlueSky's fast responses prove they have the right people doing the right jobs. I only see indicators of actual excellence. BlueSky is the one to watch going forward. Ignore Threads.

If there was a way to not allow posts we are reading to turn full-screen randomly, that would be great. Also, it seems impossible to revert back from full-screen without getting out of the app. Seems to me, going full-screen should be a choice not automatic.

Just don’t ever post a video holding a sink and chewing on wires… wait, do that! Make a video of you walking through the office with sink, talking about the growing members, having to expand, chew on some wires, thanking the “bad place” for spreading misinformation, hate, and conspiracy theories lol

It’s not a problem. As a matter of fact it is a reminder that good things like people are not perfect. And good things like people require patience and support, not demands for instant gratification.
