What's the app or experience that you had that made the Atmosphere click for you? Was there something in particular that helped you realize what an opportunity it is?

I'm doing a "Crazed predictions of the future" talk at the PDX atproto meetup. I've got my list, but does anybody have their own crazed atproto predictions they think I should include? I'll credit any contributions

Okay so I've built a new Atlas, this time it lets you explore the conversations on Bluesky over the past 7 days graphically. It should update every ~6 hours and help you navigate the information environment that exists on here. I've learned a LOT about what people do here today... atlas.jazco.dev

really the main fight seems to be people who see AI as the right one foisted upon them, and people who see AI as a way to build the left one themselves and finally be free of the corpo version forever

This looks amazing. And, again, reconfirms the thing I keep telling people: the Atmosphere isn't about rebuilding Twitter. It's about rebuilding a better web overall.

πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ ever wanted to build something without needing to configure a db, auth, file storage or a cms? it turns out you already have all four if you have a bluesky account πŸ‘‰ airspace is a typed client for it

came across a circle of ancient oaks that people were communing with in latvia at midsummer. there was a pile of small offerings on the center stone.

become an animist and never again worry about whether the machines are thinking. so are the trees? the machines can help us make better websites though
