I haven’t posted anything controversial in a while, I think, so here goes: C is for crouch. It’s not Control. It should be C. You can easily hit C with your thumb, as well as jump, so you can crouch jump. Ctrl is way too far down for a pinky to hit in the heat of battle.

Anyway, this is a good reminder of why I support full key remapping in my games! And also I now support different keyboard types and locales, though I'm not entirely sure that works.

All my fingers can reach everything, who cares

(I use ctrl for crouch if I want it as a hold and C if i want it as a toggle, which depends on the game)

why would you have a control scheme designed to take your directional control away while performing a crouch what is wrong with you people have you never played a video game in your life

That's why crouch is a toggle instead of a hold. You can just tap it and go back to movement.

Personally I think crouch should be assigned to the L button, y'know for shits n' giggles.
