I have some Tolkien friends who’ve made that their home base, and while I love to chat with them idk if I can do Meta atm lol Also, I have a fediverse account via Mastodon! I’m *technically* able to interact with them, but no one on Threads opts into federation 😭

Basically Mastodon and Threads are built off the same shared network, and their accounts can talk to each other! But on default, Threads users only see and interact with other threads accounts unless you allow your profile to open up! engineering.fb.com/2024/03/21/n...
