another journalism master class by the U.S. press on this whole thing

Q: Is the ceasefire over? Is the MOU dead? TRUMP: I think it's over. I don't want to deal with them anymore. They're scum. Do you know what scum is? They're led by sick people. They're vicious, violent people. They're liars. They're cuckoo

what if news outlets were honest with their readers that this is a narcissistic sociopathic geriatric charlatan operating at a third grade reading level who has absolutely no idea how literally anything works

And they wouldn't have even needed to do this, had they just done their jobs in the 1st place & at each step along the way, and compelled him to explain himself.

I know Trump was never a reader but I can't help but wonder if he is able to at all any longer. My late husband was an avid reader but in his last year with dementia couldn't read anything.

Interesting you bring this up. The below clip is from a week ago. He has extreme difficulty reading from the teleprompter starting about halfway through, so he’s improvising pretty wildly to cover up for his reading deficiency. bsky.app/profile/atru...

Trump: "'I'm right here in front of you. How do you want to begin the killing?' That's a little different kind of a guy."

A lot of people don't understand that Alzheimer's isn't just memory. My husband's was centered on executive reasoning and physical areas of the brain and I've seen the same effects in Trump for the past 8-10 years.

And when I, the consumer, ask them to explain their stance, they look down their noses and sniff. Then they expect me to pay for their content. Yeah.

Overall, I would judge that the Iranian negotiators have been more honest in their negotiating and in their public comments than President Trump or the negotiators who are said to be working for the US, but are actually being paid by others.

There were editorials questioning Biden's mental fitness based on a handful of, on this scale, insignificant flubs. With this guy it's not just that they won't report that he's demented in the accurate and original sense of that word, they won't even provide a platform for anyone who will.

In what way would you formulate a question that would make it difficult for him to skip it and not insult you? You are right, and in Ankara journalist could ask better questions than in the US but you would still have to find a point, a good question to put in the lever.
