I am absolutely begging Democratic politicians to make media reform a centerpiece of their policy platforms

point taken by people responding to the word "soon" with "it already is," but I don't think you appreciate how much worse it can and will get right now you at least get a cute segment on jimothy or the occasional public interest segment just you wait until it's ALL just Sinclair Broadcasting

TBH I think making the wide umbrella of *trustbusting* into the platform would be great. That way, ALL industry consolidation can be properly warred upon.

In the meantime, I think it would really be worth someone like Mackenzie Scott (formerly Bezos) or Melinda French Gates to consider buying out completely entities like Sinclair in order to remove all of the GOP cancer and turn them back into legitimate broadcasting entities
