Spooky that yesterday I was musing about this, and this thread kind of says I am not alone πŸ˜πŸ˜‘ bsky.app/profile/anki...

I have realised that I don't feel as excited to play video games as I used to when I was younger. I have an active lifestyle now, which means less screen time, but even so, I am less motivated to pick the steam deck or ps5 controller. Do all feel this way as they grow older? Why? #videogames

My adult daughter used to resent having a curfew as a teenager.I told her when you live on your own, you can stay out as late as you want. One day she called me and said, "Mom, you lied to me. You said I could stay out as late as I want. Well, now after work I'm too damned tired to go anywhere."

Does anyone else get in from work, cook tea, wash up & then fall asleep on the settee every bloody night.. then meaning they can't sleep when they finally get into bed? I'm seriously thinking of going straight from washing up to bed with no TV time cos the tossing & turning is so annoying..

Weekends are the best. Definitely overrated, you have to live your life in between the weekends Easier said than done but pick a day and make it your get out of the house night. If that works shoot for two days. But don't go crazy, you probably have a job.

Whenever I try to stay up it turns into: wake up early to play go to work stay up late to play crash disastrously hard the next day continue doing it with progressively worse crashes spend the weekend doing nothing but recovering say I won't repeat it, but do anyway

As my toon spins in circles in my MMPG, or endlessly walks into a wall while a NPC kills me. LOL [we need to sleep too, log off and take a nap dumb ass, it is just a game]
