I told glenn he *had* to check his networking libraries with a frontier model, despite of course AI being fucking horrible; it *immediately* found a huge fucking stack in years old foundational code used by tons of games.

but also we need to stop writing networking code in memory unsafe languages! people outside gamedev figured that out already

sure i would simply rewrite every video game in rust

doesn’t have to be a full port as seen in lots of other software (browsers, operating systems, web services) as long as we say that changing things is too hard, things won’t change and we’ll keep having stupid buffer overrun CVEs besides, can’t the AI just port your libraries now? :P
