I was just thinking about how to start talking about this. I think the most important thing we can do is support our communities. Both smaller local communities, and larger online ones. Keep your money in your community.

I have looked into making @bomb.sh a co-op! The corporate infrastructure available in the US is, unsurprisingly, not very amenable to that structure! @igalia.com is probably the gold standard. Spain legally supports worker cooperative companies in a way that would be very complex to pull off here.

Agree. I think the whole investor driven tech startup scene has brought as many good things as it’s made life miserable. Buy more, watch more, grind more, faster, cheaper, restless, let’s go 😮‍💨

Okay here's the plan. We take the selfless behaviour I've personally seen you exhibit in other places, bottle it, and distrib at scale.* *Jk I'm aware that these are structural problems not solved individually and that a logic of self-sacrifice is almost certainly not the answer.

TBH the only thing in my way are nagging-Virgo-brain questions like “what corporate shape and legal agreements need to exist” and “how to make it structurally impossible for bad actors including potentially myself from breaking it later”
