I am 100% sure that Trump promised him he would intervene, which is on one hand deeply, deeply disturbing and horrific for democracies everywhere, but on the other hand, lmaooooooooo

I love how quickly we went from "This election is won! We will put the minorities in their place! Election only 8 years from now! We will change the constitution" to: "I give up! My dad will go to jail, and I'll go to jail too"

At least in Brazil, the fear of the laws of the land, and being made to be held accountable for you illegal action, is still strong and acts as a deterrent. I wonder what the United States thinks about a country where the law has supremacy 🤔
