kind of thinking i need to turn the ad blocker off. i am either pro people getting paid for their work, or not. i know that's only small part of one issue, and even that is debatable, but i have been thinking about it. i mean let's never download any more illicit content, right, given we care?

It’s a weird set of tradeoffs, because ad networks enable surveillance and security risks. I think I am just trying to subscribe to as many things as I can support.

very fair. my eldest also pointed out that with ads on, when he looks for anime, he gets served a bunch of gross hentai he doesn't want to see. but yes - subscribe and pay for what you love is a good philosophy.
