@bioniclaura.bsky.social just followed me and I immediately followed her back because if you don't follow people back that have profile pictures like that then what are you even doing with your life?

i am really happy with how this came out - sparring with @kateholterhoff.com is great fun. i think this might be the first time i have ever sung on a video. see inside for our reckons on cloudflare connect last week.
Is #CloudflareConnect a developer conference? @kateholterhoff.com & @monkchips.com discuss their reckons in this (not so) Quick Take, live in San Francisco. And, yes, it’s Kate’s birthday 🎂 redmonk.com/videos/qt-cl...
good post and roundup by @jkriggins.bsky.social - what's next for DORA and the tech industry in measuring engineering team performance? i see Atlassian DX and AWS as key centers of gravity. Will be closely watching what @lauratacho.com and @nathenharvey.bsky.social cook up at AWS.

Fascinating, although some of you may not want to look at it: spiders twitch in their sleep

Like many artists, I am struggling with AI. My reaction to this has been to create an entirely human made product for other humans to make! You can buy a little paper house. It arrives in a bright envelope with a bit of art and silliness. More here: www.lucycorrina.co.uk/shopproducts...

Don't sleep on Serbia. The kids are alright. 🇷🇸
A stunning defeat for a Trump-aligned right-wing leader in Europe. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, whose government cultivated close ties with Donald Trump and his family, has conceded defeat to a student-led opposition movement in a historic parliamentary election.

this is a good post by Katelyn Lesse, head of platform at Anthropic about the problems the industry needs to solve for multi-agent systems. most pressingly imo - authentication and authorisation. "Security and proper isolation are critical for untrusted code and content." - sandboxes 🚀
it's good to see SNL UK leaning into Naija culture. there are so many great British/Nigerian comics and actors in this country. i don't have Sky so i haven't been watching it, but enjoyed this skit www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cPV...
the sad irony of reading this post on... checks notes.... substack

The @erikahilton.bsky.social story is really inspiring "Hilton is pushing an intersectional agenda that crosses gender, race, class, work, and identity." 🇧🇷

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

Fuck Yeah. Sweet like a caipirinha. 🇧🇷
With 83% of the vote counted nationwide, Lula has stretched his lead to 2.8 million votes. That's a lead of 51.4% to 48.6%. That puts him on track for a victory that could be larger than his 1.8% win four years ago, which would be an immense comeback. He's even up in Minas Gervais now, by 0.6%.

TIL - The Rosemary Branch pub in Islington is named after the Leveller political movement.
"the Levellers are usually remembered as a proto-socialist organisation which, in an age of staggering extremes of wealth and power, promoted the idea of fairness."
Cool cool. Another gem from the "State's Rights" enjoyers.
Blanche on CBS says his suit against Alaska is "asking the court to step in where the Alaska Supreme Court didn't, which is to look at federal law and if necessary to allow a process for Alaska to decide who should be certified as the winner." (So, the voters won't get to decide. Got it.)
