This asshole could have ended it all by voting to convict and remove. He can fuck off with this late stage bullshit.

Mitch McConnell: Tariffs "will drive the cost of everything up. In other words, it will be paid for by American consumers. I mean, why would you want to get in a fight with your allies over this?"

We need the orange one impeached, removed and imprisoned. We also need all of his appointees to be removed. How is he allowed to do all this horrible shit?

any mistakes are mine, but this is my assignment from HCR: to help inform other Americans that their financial data has been breached, Elon Musk has it illegally, Trump and Vance have broken the Constitution to permit Musk's seizure of protected information. Impeach immediately

Yep! I remember when Mitch said he would back the Republican nominee, even if it's Trump. Republicans are all complicit in this! I didn't see Mitch protesting at the government buildings Trump and Elon got rid of agencies and jobs, without congressional approval!

I don't give a rat's ass about him speaking out. Igor and Dr. Frankenstein are now speaking out against the monster they created. He could have spoke out BEFORE the election. TOO FK-ING LATE. He will be forever a sh*t stain on the history of Democracy.

Agreed. All performative at this point to "protect" his legacy. "See, I was against him as a dictator". Nope. You literally could have prevented this. One person, you, could have prevented the current situation and you decided the potential for power was worth it. Now we all suffer.

He helped call down the thunder now he gets to feel the lightning! Because Kentucky is going to get boned hard and their bourbon industry is going to be devastated! Bridges will be more expensive to build or repair cars will be more expensive if not impossible to buy especially in Kentucky!

McConnell will never suffer any consequences for his actions either. I doubt he even remembers what he did yesterday at this point. He did nothing to help people in his own state & they kept electing him for years. It boggles the mind.🤨

We moved to Kentucky about 6 years ago, long enough to vote against McConnell. We live just outside blue Lexington in a purple county. While the county went for McConnell I have yet to meet anyone who has anything good to say about him. I still don't understand this state.

In all fairness, trump is just getting started. Good ol' boy Mitch has had years to fuck with us. Trump will catch up, I am sure. His state is one that is being boycotted. I am sure his constitutes are not happy about that.

These geezers have to go. Age limits and term limits are needed now. They think it's business as usual. This is a choice point for humanity. Do we allow Felon 47 to have his way or stand in our power to unite against a coup? Everybody needs to play an active part at this point.

Mitch stopped o from placing Garland at SCOTUS, which made Garland avail for AG, and slow-walk of Trump J6, MAL docs steal. Now Canada putting retaliatory tariff on Kentucky bourbon, Mitch squeals. You stabbed us. Hush.

Biden should have fired him soon after J6 when it was clear that he was only going after the lowest level insurrectionists and not going near Shitler, his architects and the insurrectionists in Congress.

I think Biden is the same as Garland. Biden did exactly what he was meant to do. He protected all rich, white men from any legal consequences. This is how the law is meant to function in the USA. (Sorry I know that is a bit of a bummer!)

Merrick Garland would have been on the Supreme Court in the seat taken by Niel Gorsuch if Mitch McTurtle hadn't blocked the appointment for the year of President Obama's final term The amount of damage McTurtle has done to the US is staggering & will reverberate for decades.

The voters are to blame. You shouldn't have to arrest or disqualify a bigot criminal from running to keep him from winning. You can't arrest them all. At come point voters have to do better.

Moscow Mitch is now the most worthless human on the planet. He could have prevented all of this by leading the march to conviction. He chose to preserve party instead. And he just discovered how powerless he is too. His no vote ob Hegseth was supposed to provide cover for others. No one took it

And just think where this country would be if that coward Merrick Garland had just done his fucking job. The most important job in this country's history where a President attempted a coup. Unforgivable.

I agree. If Moscow Mitch is starting to turn against Dick Tater, this could be the snowball starting to roll down the hill. McConnell has more money in his war chest than Trump does.

A hearty eff you to McConnell. He has always worked against Americans’ values for his own hellish minority conservative version. When he denied Obama a USSC pick and people did not protest is when I first felt our rights slipping away.

what is appalling is that in this historical time for the US, you still have people who belong to retirement homes give opinion which you consider relevant. Place a motorized dummy to read a teleprompter or cut it short and use AI. Gerontocracy.

if they can manipulate mass of people, figure it octogenarians. Reminds me of Solzhenitsyn- after all what went through in life, before death he turned out a fervent putin supporter, apparently. People have a best-by mental date.

His legacy is so tainted that he’s at the “muddying the waters stage” of his legacy. Too late. He enabled and supported whatever nightmarish policies Trump proposed. He knows now it doesn’t end well.

The Republicans failed to defend the Constitution of the United States of America. bsky.app/profile/jd15...

Absolutely. He wouldn't let the Senate convict Trump in the Jan. 6th impeachment. He wouldn't have been able to run again. But if he has had a change of heart and is now willing to stand up to Trump, then I will take it.

Mitch McConnell is a subsidiary of the oligarchy. He is Willing to let Trump get away with anything he wants as long as his followers continue to vote for republicans that confirm corporate friendly judges.

He always chooses to at the end fall in line with all of trump’s illegal actions, he and his fellow Republicans are nothing but rubber stamps to the felon in chief

He also has either lost all his influence in the Senate, which I doubt, or he isn't using it to oppose even the worst of Trump's nominees now. He's made token votes against a couple himself, but has still let them pass.

And that’s how I want him. I want him to suffer as much as we do. I want him to know the many ways/times we cuss him. He needs to have a very slow death.

My husband was watching this and I was screaming at the TV the whole time -THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, MITCH! He’s a fucking coward!

My exact sentiments. What a fucking mistake. McConnell gave rump the power and then acts surprised that rump got elected. He put trump in the WH. What a sad little man now. And he’s responsible for all of it.

They have been systematically working to sabotage our democracy from the inside since the 50s. And then act surprised when Clementine Hitler shows up. Like no, mofo. YOU did this.

While I am sure he is a hero to the base, the interview just showed what scum he is to the rest of us. 'I'm still a Republican,' he said. Yeah, you still put party over country, power over compassion.

Nailed it. Without him, we wouldn't have Trump today. In addition to which he can cite as his most notable achievements the destruction of the Senate as "the world's greatest deliberative body" and the relegation of the Supreme Court to judicial guarantor of the unfettered abuse of executive power.
