"Today’s decision does not address whether the President’s attempts to interfere with States’ administration of the November 2026 elections are lawful. Nor does it suggest that the Executive Branch has any constitutional or statutory authority to implement the President’s directives." 2/

PS: An important note: As part of a separate but related lawsuit, the U.S. Postal Service remains blocked from following Trump's directives under a nationwide ruling released Aug. 11 by U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani in Boston.

And as soon as tomorrow, Judge Talwani may also issue a TRO against the new rule the USPS issued Friday night to implement the EO. In other words, this is a small win for the Trump administration, but *not* a ruling that fully clears the way for Trump to mess with mail-in ballots come November.

None of this bullshit from the executive branch bullshit about voting is in the US Constitution. States that have mail in voting can just tell Shit-in-Pants to go fuck himself. The Supreme Court cannot make up lines that are not in the Constitution.

Regardless of how this specific mess ends, the Roberts Court needs to be so diluted by the next Democratic president as to sideline the current chief. We need 21 justices that are all bound to a single 10 year term. That's more than long enough.

According to the US Constitution, the rules for Postal Service were established under the Legislative Branch, therefore, the President does not have the authority to set any rules for how the Postal Service operates! The Constitution also says that the states run elections, not the president!
