Do you know how hard it is to lose the war if you're the United States? It's about as unlikely as bankrupting a casino.

Chris Murphy: "Donald Trump was so fundamentally unprepared for this war that within days of the war starting, our billion dollar air bases and naval bases in the region were obliterated by the Iranians. Every single American should be furious about that."

Dear internet, This post is called sarcasm. What I mean here is that the defense budget is a scam because we have all the money in the world but continue to lose wars. Just like Trump's Casinos were fronts. Let me know if there's anything else you need explained today. ~AG

Our defense budget is built on the idea that wars are fought the way they were in the 40s/50s. Nothing learned from Vietnam, we persist in thinking bigger and more lethal everything equates immediate success. Once again, critical thinking skills/strategy are proved to be more important.

I’m embarrassed that you needed to explain it at all. To anyone. Then again, it’s clear there are enough morons in this country to like Trump. Twice.

"Do you know how hard it is to lose the war if you're the United States? It's about as unlikely as bankrupting a casino." UNLESS that's the military industrial complex agenda to keep us in perpetual wars. that explains... a LOT. ALL the wars. korea, nam, grenada, panama, kuwait, bosnia, kosovo,....

Yep. One the biggest revelations I had growing up is that all the talk of supporting the troops with the defense budget is bullshit. That money goes to the defense contractors and the make tens of billions off of it while veterans and current soldiers get next to nothing .

Don't forget the Congressional welfare built into the budget. It gives the MIC 535 valuable supporters. Plus, weapons procurement seems to be so drawn out that endless numbers of military officers make their careers on the progress of given weapons.

Absolutely correct. I read that one F-16 requires 5,000 civilian jobs. Now most are located in the poorest southern states and it's welfare alright. NYC pays $1.25 to the Fed and receives $0.75 back..

And then they treat NYC like some devil's playground. Welfare, socialism, words that have been redefined by politicians for decades, since the new deal they've been clawing back

Honestly, I have Advanced Sarcasm™️ as well when in person. I know how that feels. Also, incase anyone doesn't realize it, you damn near have to actively set out to bankrupt a casino from the start because once they get going, they are a license to print money.

“In war, numbers alone confer no advantage. Do not advance relying on sheer military power. …He who lacks foresight and underestimates his enemy will surely be captured by him.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

I would love an explanation on why Trump wants to buy a miniscule amount of diesel, from and adversary. That actually are short on fuel themselves with long lines. And doing this agains the law? Why?

Oh yeah. As I'm sure you're well aware, like before you post, you can't ask a rhetorical question online without every pedantic coming out of the woodwork and trying to correct or answer you, as if you were really asking. The trolls trying to claim they YOU don't know sarcasm are just a bonus.
