i actually have a book called "Crypto" which is about the history of cryptographic security; it was published easily decades before i'd ever heard the word "blockchain" fascinating read; i ought to go over it again the phrase "THE MAGIC WORDS ARE SQUEAMISH OSSIFRAGE" is burned into my memory

i mean there's absolutely an overlap between crypto bros and the kinds of people who will snap "it's EPHEBOPHILIA, you dullard!" at you but still i have almost a morbid curiosity as to what string of misunderstandings led to this guy deciding "nonce" was a laudatory term for a crypto bro
