#YouBetTheyDie horseracingwrongs.org

Congrats on his and the trainers win. Probably shouldn't have named the country he's from, some folks may come looking for him.

I’m suprised ice wasn’t there to cart Junior Alvarado off to a detention center once he stepped off of his horse.

Presumably met at the finish line by armed gang members from ICE. 🤔

Horse racing mirrors real life.

"Sovereignty" defeating "Journalism" is just so on the nose in today's America.... Let's hope Journalism fights back to take the Preakness and the Belmont, and put Sovereignty out to pasture.

I had money on 16& 17 but none on 18 🥲

The favorites were named Journalism and Sovereignty and the winning jockey is Venezuelan. The universe is working overtime.

I gave up on horse racing after the demise of Seabiscuit.

Awesome!.... don't let ICE anywhere this guy or he'll be tagged with being in a gang and carted off to El Salvador without due process!

Has ICE picked him up yet ?

Lone Watie: I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas, I bet.

Did Homans Zeroes arrest him after the race and ship him off to El Salvador?

There were a few from there. First thing I thought was uh oh……

Junior better be careful...Trump is sending every Venezuelan to El Salvador without due process.

👏👏👏👏👏👏

Congratulations, obscenely wealthy people!

Way to go, Venezuela! 👏🏻

Maybe there's a metaphor in here somewhere.

Was he met in the Winner's Circle by Kirsti Noem in cosplay jodhpurs?

Will the Venezuelan jockey now be deported to a different country to await prison life in perhaps El Salvador , because he dared to have a dream in the USA?

sort of sums up america's political climate sovereignty (protectionism) & journalism (the media) succumbing

Why does this article read like it was written by AI?

Sovereignty beats Journalism crows the right.. but with a Venezuelan holding reins.. Oh the irony.

Don’t tell ICE

Great run

Sovereignty rules! Of course, Ukrainians already knew that.. Congratulations to Kentucky Derby winners & thanks for getting the word out to the public in a surprisingly pleasant way.[plus a good example of immigrant energy]. choose love

I’m for outlawing horse racing for the same reason that greyhound racing was banned 🧌🧌

Is there a reason not to use the word “EARNED”? Using the passive verb “hands” implies it was given and not hard earned. Stop taking away credit when it’s deservedly earned! Maybe you need better writers who know how to use the word earned 🤨

Hes an American Citizen btw

Ikr- AND he had the audacity to speak Spanish on live tv! Donny is losing it

headline’s a little on-the-nose

NPR saying Sovereignty beat Journalism the day after Trump puts funding for public media on the chopping block. You can’t make this shit up.

God the jockey better watch his ass. They'll deport his ass so g for having the nerve to win the derby and not be a white amurican

Bluesky Jockey! #blueskyjockey #bluesky ! 🍾😊😍💙 @bluesky @bsky.app

Wonder when Trump will send his thugs after him?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣👍

Oh, my gosh, that's too funny. If only he did say that out loud. 🤣🤣🤣

YOU WIN!

That's a good one.

Brilliant!

The symbolism.

That headline is something else. 😐😂

I really can’t believe in this day & age NPR in actually covering & supporting the animal abuse that is horse racing. Shame.

ICE waiting for him at the finish line?

Don't forget that the owner is a Prince from the UAE.

Bet he gets deported!

Was ICE waiting to deport him afterwards?

I can’t help it, I love the derby!

There is a commentary here about WHCA "Journalism" close enough to sniff the farts (like the access seekers they are) of a self declared "sovereign"

Silly me. I thought the horse won.

Dumb asses will always be dumb asses!

races are horse abuse

I’m sure Trump will check his knuckles.

Is Junior still in the country? Curious

Dump: WHY ARE THEY ALLOWING MS13 TO RACE HORSES???!!!

Who tf cares about this elitist bs? Horse racing is effing cruel

Can’t wait until they argue the horse is TDA

Hope he doesn’t have any tattoos.

I think I speak for most, but I hope Junior makes it out of America safely.

The only winners here are owners who make millions. The horses will eventually get discarded when they can no longer race or their semen no longer viable. This isn't about fancy dressing or winning. Animal racing needs to stop. The greyhound racing industry has already started to open its eyes.

He will be in El Salvador within a week. I am sure that ICE can connect him to MS13 in that much time.

Well, send him back to Venezuela and give the trophy to a deserving tall, blonde, white guy.

Stop supporting race horses. It is nothing but juvenile animal abuse. Those horses are BABIES!!!!!

Check his knuckles. He may be a member of MS-13.

Especially on a horse named Sovereignty, seems like a sign to the world.

Trump will probably deport the jockey and the horse

Indeed

Reminds me of the 1990s when the pro cyclist Raul Alcala won the Tour De Trump and he's a Mexican :D

Hopefully he won't be deported.

Kentucky continues to invest in gambling, animal abuse, whiskey, racism, and a service underclass of Hispanic immigrants as its core values.

Journalism has been ruining sovereignty for years, so….

It’s a miracle they weren’t waiting to deport him because of his name

I just really hate this headline.

Will the jockey be deported?

Great. I’m sure assface will try to deport him.

Bravo for Junior, Bill, and all connections!! To Derby 152!

Wait for it. donny 2 dolls will say he was the jockey at the Derby. I hope the jockey has security. @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com (must add you to this as stole your donny 2 dolls)

im surprise ICE wasn't waiting for him after his win

Don’t say Venezuelan.. 🎯

I wanted Journalism to win. No Kings!!!!!

It’s well past time to retire this cruel “sport” they’ve killed so many horses, they should be prosecuted for cruelty to animals!

He’d better cover his tattoos

Tell the story of the horrific / cruel side of horse racing.

Seems about right…🫤

Hope the jockey isn’t “disappeared”. It’s been known to happen to Venezuelans.

Its a wonder ICE didnt disappear him during the race. He is Venezuelan after all.

Are we sure this isn't a victory for MS13?

You realize you could have scrolled right past my first post about this, right? It’s not that hard. You told me to “go away.” You are the one that threw the first personal shot.

You’ve been reported. If you’re worried about animal abuse, I suggest you turn your attention to factory farms. If you are not a vegan, you are supporting the abuse of animals too.

They are NOT treated well. They are locked up in tiny stalls and forced to stand there all day. Baby horses. People who like horses let them run around in the field as babies. Developing strong bones and tendons and having a good ol time.

That jockey shouldn’t bring attention to himself. They’ll be claiming he’s part of a gang and shipping him off soon…👀

Horse racing is sick and inhumane and everyone involved should be flogged.

So will he be deported now?

Seems ominous lol

Nobody tell ICE...

That was my first thought!

#animalabuse

Hopefully Trump and company didn’t bet against Sovereignty or his next race is going to be in El Salvador.

Did ICE come arrest him inside the winners circle?? "We deport you and the horse you rode in on".

Sovereignty wins? Hopefully, this is an omen for the failure of American Imperialism

Were there ICE agents waiting for him at the finish line?

We need to stop doing the derby. It's mean to the horses!

I wonder if he is worried about being deported?

I’m glad he won! 😎 FU Trump!😂

It is. People who like horses do not support horse racing.

lmao

Was ICE waiting for him at the gate after revoking his credentials and prepared to check for tattoos?

There is nothing glamorous about horse racing. #CrueltyIsNotSport

How long before he gets deported?

Are we sure he isn’t in the Gang?

Someday this horse could be on a menu in Japan 😜

How ironic that it’s a win 4 a Venezuelan and horse named sovereignty … Congrats!

Enough publicity to get him sent to prison in El Salvador

I hope this isn't a metaphor... Honestly, for just a moment, I thought this was a headline from the Onion.
