Hegseth’s enlisting Israel to animate a new wave of violence against Iran puts American weakness on display. It also shows desperation and stupidity. It won’t turn the war and may cost Republicans a few house seats in the elections in either country.

The Tennessee Holler @thetnholler.bsky.social

Haaretz reports Hegseth went to Israel, met with Netanyahu, and now we’re gonna strike Iran again... (Right before elections in both countries)🤔 How long are Republicans going to run cover for this destructive, deadly nonsense that is costing us all so much? @MarshaBlackburn

I have been praying for this kind of pushback from Democrats against Elon Musk for a long time now and I am thrilled that the Talarico camp is leaning into it. Light. Him. Up.

Team Talarico@teamtalaricohq.bsky.social

NEW AD: Have you seen these anti-Talarico attack ads? Elon Musk paid for nearly all of them. The world's first trillionaire knows if he drags the most corrupt politician in Texas across the finish line, Ken Paxton will owe him everything. Elon Musk: Texas is not for sale.

like vance, ramaswamy is a hateful, resentful orc of a human being, and the reason i think this will hurt him politically — where this stuff didn’t hurt trump — is that ramaswamy, like vance, is also profoundly unlikeable. he has no charm or charisma or anything. just a dipshit.

Most modern First Amendment violations would have mystified the Constitution's framers. Not this one. Federal functionaries threatening the licenses of journalists who publish news of the president's unpopularity is as core to the amendment's prohibitions as one can get.

Kevin Collier @kevincollier.bsky.social

In any other admin, this would probably be the most outrageous official statement ever made by a sitting FCC director: Strongly implying that the government forbids broadcast networks from reporting on the president's falling poll numbers. (Sorry to paste from twitter but that's where he posts.)

WATCH: “A good hangin’ right here on the public square.”😕 Republican Rep. Paul Sherrell - who once apologized for calling for bringing back “lynchings” - now backs public executions and tells opponent Samantha Petit (D) he wants to bring back public hangings and firing squads.

Watching Rams lose to Cards' buzzerbeater. Greg Olsen is sooo much better than Brady. He talked the progression in strategy and execution in the last minute with precision. Kenny Albert pretty good too.

A complete disaster in less than two years. He squandered the post-Covid recovery in Biden's last two years. Together with his evisceration of our democracy, and the disabling of the government, and the failures in war, and his surrender to Putin and Xi, Trump is the kiss of death for America.

Dear rest of the world, If you want to know why the US elected Trump given all the things you know about him, the reason is that America has tens of millions of people as ignorant as this. We just aren't a very smart country as a whole. bsky.app/profile/atru...

Donald Trump’s plan to buy diesel and gas from Russia is just as insane roar as his plan from the Treason Summit in Helsinki to turn over America’s cyber defenses to Putin. He’s the first American President to be a vassal of another country’s dictator.

The deal doesn’t just align the United States against Ukraine, it positions us in opposition to every democratic government on the planet, to every institution of international law, and our own commitments and signed agreements. It is abominable.
