This info comes to absolutely no surprise to anyone. Not only did Musk say the pain would be “necessary”, more than half the living US recipients of the Nobel Prize for economics tried to warn us… This all before we started bombing children’s schools, bridges, and Venezuelan fishing boats.

NYT has lost so much credibility it’s ridiculous. Quit straddling the fence and report the truth for a change. Trump is trashing our economy, constitution and our American spirit. Oh and wait for the stock market to collapse

"Slow but steady" lol. If this happened under Biden you'd guys have half your opinion section write coordinated op-eds calling for the president to resign in disgrace.

HAHAHAHA!!! FUCK THE NYT. FUCK IT COMPLETELY AND STRAIGHT OFF THE EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE. WE ALL KNOW WHAT NYT WOULD LOOK LIKE IN RESPONSE TO A REPORT LIKE THIS UNDER BIDEN/DEMS. IN FACT, IT LOOKED LIKE THAT WHEN THERE WERE EVEN BETTER REPORTS. ABSOLUTELY NOBODY IS FUCKING FOOLED. #BOYCOTTNYT

I'm old enough to remember months of headlines predicting a Biden Depression, despite months of positive jobs reports. Here we have months of modest-to-negative numbers and crickets.

Guess I did not pick the best time to retire and look for part time job instead. But I refuse to let Republicans dictate my life choices.

The job creators aren't using their billions in tax breaks and tariff refunds to hire. "How unexpected", said no one except the pundits and the media.

🚨 NEW NAV DATA: Nearly two-thirds of Americans disapprove of Trump's economic handling. Our latest polling confirms Americans' top priorities - lowering inflation, cost of living, and strengthening jobs. That's not what they're getting from Trump and Republicans in Congress. bit.ly/3SjkdoE

And of course this is still likely an undercount of jobs lost since Trump's war on numbers. Just suffice it to say that even with doctored numbers by whoever's running the Bureau of Labor Statistics his "best month" for job growth was nowhere near Biden's average month.

these are bad numbers--but right now on the live section of the NYT website--it's called a "modest" loss--all sorts of euphemisms, because NYT senior editors think telling the truth about the Trump administration--makes you "biased" for the Dems🙄

During Biden's four years in office - the US did not suffer a single month of job losses (48 months in a row). During Trump's second term - the nation has already seen six months of job losses. (Only 19 months)

Totally correct because he cared about the people in this country Trump doesn't that's why it's falling apart cause he doesn't create jobs he don't even have a health care plan his health care plan as cover somebody's head up with a blanket he doesn't give a fuck about anybody else but his Fat ass

Donald’s PR factory wants you to think the thing that everyone with two brain cells to rub together expected was “unexpected.” Fucking clowns. 🤡

Thinking back to my students’ comments when our fall, 2019 Homecoming theme was “The Roaring 20’s”. “Oh no, do you think it’s going to be like in the 1900s again?” And I laughed and said, “I sure hope not!”

Fall 2019, followed by school shut downs for COVID and now the economic mess - if they didn’t fully get history from paying attention in class, they have sure learned a bit since. (I was a speech therapist, so we got to talk about all sorts of things as we worked on communication skills)

Again washing and carrying water for this disastrous administration and Republican government. “Slow but steady”?! In what world losing jobs again and again is called “steady”?

Unexpectedly? What did you expect when a convicted felon and fraudster who has 6 bankruptcies and failed businesses is in charge? No different than his 1st term. Golden age my 🍑.
