I’ll leave it here but most members of the established media have no idea they’re gonna be obsolete in a few years. Not because of Trump, but because they failed to live up to the moment when it mattered. It’s all horse race, both sides, desire to have access acquiescence.

Here’s a recommendation. When you start a column with “Many Americans are losing faith in our elections,” did you ever stop and ask why? Maybe you did, I gave up after the first sentence. STOP with the fucking nonsense. Who cares what “many people” think. They’re clueless thanks to an anemic press

We are in a period where selfish stupid assholes think they should get everything they want. Just say it. Dont give these troglodytes any credence, they don’t deserve it. We are in a period where most of media thinks they need to report on this bullshit.

This observation highlights the heightened stakes voters feel, underscoring the need for transparent, resilient electoral processes to sustain democratic trust.

I worry about your midterms and I’m a U.K. national. A manufactured crisis ( more than the current WH incumbent has managed for far) or remember the hordes of Musk’s programmers in the gubbins of the government code right after the last debacle of a presidential election in Nov 24 and for so long…

Nothing is in place to stop: 1. a repeat hacking of the ballot machines 2. Harassment and violence at polling places 3. Mail ballot interference 4. A Bush v Gore SCOTUS on steroids 5. Refusals to certify 6. Insurrection act 7. Scores of local legal challenges 8. New Dems succumbing to corruption

Precisely. And when these “existential” elections fail to deliver existential change? What then? We both, many of us, know where this is headed; too many fear the change coming to even speak its name. That’ll change. Sooner than we thought possible. We need to plan for the event, and the aftermath.
