Why it matters: We “responsible journalists” have decided we need this to bash Democrats. It’s difficult to “both sides” every issue when Republicans are wrong on every issue.

I checked out a few of Hassan's streams a few years ago but just could not get into him. Sure, we may agree on some policy points, but he just came off as an unhinged influencer, the left's equivalent to your red hat uncle that finds some way to insert Trump into every single conversation

I live in Michigan. I haven’t heard a single person irl mention Piker. Heard lots of people mention affordability, Medicare for all, and money out of politics.

He has said like 5 upsetting things. I was raised conservative and am an older millennial, so every one of the real comments, I recognize them as similar to my process in learning to update my worldview from what boomers thought was funny/true to being more aware of the world.
