When an action is taken, we select a policy that was violated. The first thing we had to do was separate pds and app takedowns, and then make only some policies affect pds takedowns. That's launched now.

The policy side still needs work. The goal is to only apply pds takedowns for legal and network-abuse reasons. But social apps are much more regulated than hosting services, and so now we're conducting legal review to separate out the PDS policies more fully and complete our target

I'm curious to know how this applies to the relays - do you foresee the need to do any fine-grained (eg. account-level) filtering at that level? Or just shut off entire PDSes if 3rd-party ones have content you determine you can't carry on the relays?
