What a non-story this is. KC is visiting the US on a diplomatic mission for the UK government & will be visiting the 9/11 monument as a mark of respect. Mayor Mamdani will welcome him on behalf of NYC & they will both be perfectly cordial to each other.All other extraneous speculation is irrelevant.

I think people just see british royalty as sort of a heredetary celebrity who's job is pomp and circumstance, at this point. People recognise that the british king and royal family don't actually do much of anything other than attract tourism and give something for the tabloids to gossip about.

I find it all kind of funny actually. The 'Royal' family is sort of trapped in it's job, with the world looking at them constantly, with, sure, luxury paid for, but also having to do the stupidest, most embarrassingly traditional stuff all the time in front of every camera. And that's all they do.
