Cosmopolitan asks Sydney Sweeney if she ever intends to publicly state her political beliefs: “No. I’m not a political person. I’m in the arts. I’m not here to speak on politics. That’s not an area I’ve ever even imagined getting into… but I don’t believe in hate in any form.”

“I don’t believe in hate in any form” is the most banal, milquetoast combination of words a person could possibly put together. Not a lot going on in that head of hers.

Honestly, who cares what her beliefs are. She isn't making policy. She isn't running for office. Get off her back if she doesn't want to engage in politics. Some actors do. Some don't. Can you all move on?

What real damage? That dumb Jean ad? She’s an actor, who’s overly sexualized. She’s more a danger to women’s issues than to democracy. Every time you engage w a story about her, you promote her. Ignore her.

The public isn't wanting to know her opinions on roundabouts or what might be the best way to implement 40 CFR Part 503, Menen. We want to know if she is a gotdamn fascist.

Spend your energy wisely. Just ignore her. Don’t click on stories about her. Don’t comment. There are a whole lot more real, dangerous assholes we need to worry about. She isn’t one of them. She will be parading around makeup less& clothed in 15 years trying to make herself relevant ala Pam Anderson

I mean, yeah, but Cosmo is interviewing her and she's getting paid big money to be famous. That is the start of building a following which can lead to becoming or influencing a real, dangerous asshole. Tell Cosmo to ignore her.

God this woman is infuriating! You have a platform - you need to use it. But, it must be nice to not feel like you have to, quite the privilege. Tired of hearing about Sydney at this point.

Did someone told her almost every 99% arts always has been about politics too or...? Probably not everything, but mostly history art it's about political states, what a loser.
